Our Story

Dimple and Rick first crossed paths in 2015 in Los Angeles, California. As freshmen at USC, they met while volunteering with children and quickly became close friends.

Over the years, they discovered that their connection was something special - magnetic, effortless, and bound by what felt like an invisible string always pulling them close to each other.

Their love has endured years of being 2,700 miles apart, countless FaceTime calls, and many last-minute flights (taken by Rick, of course) to Toronto to be with each other, each visit a reminder that home isn’t a place, but a person. Their journey has taken them from the Swiss Alps to the Great Barrier Reef, from the Colosseum to the Taj Mahal, from the Amalfi Coast to Paradise Island.

Now, nearly a decade after meeting, they’re thrilled to celebrate this journey of friendship, laughter, and love with the people who mean the most to them. Together with their families, Dimple and Rick can’t wait to welcome you to Portugal!
